Who We Are

Ashford Umbrella was founded as a charity in 1991 in Ashford as a result of a decision by the Government of the day that post-hospital care should be carried out in the home. Umbrella was created to help these patients to adjust to life in the community especially those with mental health problems. Today Umbrella’s role encompasses everyone providing support free from all forms of discrimination.
